Tomorrow, she thought tomorrow.
And the Princess continued to wait .................
Wrapped in her reverie one very fine winter morning, as she waited on the MagicalShores for the Cowboy to appear once more, the Princess fell into a sleep-like trance. Sitting alone by the turquoise waters the sea sighed in unison with her-however by evening, the sea had detached itself from, its waves lapping dangerously as the tide turned in. From the glowering, sinking sunset to the new dawn of the moon she sat like a sculptured figure under the open skies, not moving the only giveaway being a gently heaving bosom as she took in the oxygen of life.
And thus they found her in the morning – the Drifters with their aura of golden sheen – wet and alive though dry and bereft of emotion, grit clinging to her, her entire body covered with the silvery sheath of the sand filled shore. They shook her and ran round and round her in circles pleading her to open her eyes – the same eyes with which she had blinded many for good – till at last she did and smiled – the half smile of Mona Lisa – at once enigmatic, mysterious and sad.
For the Princess had attained her Nirvana that night. From the placid cerulean sea under the azure sky in the day, the waters once again turned into the Ocean of Fire – as she saw the Cowboy approach her. He stood silhouetted against the rising moon – beams falling as cracker bursts from his luminescent body. She recognized him instantly – he was her Self – her Inner Self exposed brilliantly against the sky. He was Her as he stood mighty and strong, ready to take the frail princes into his muscular, comforting arms. As he came forward to touch her quivering body she felt her soul fly in and out of herself. It was an ecstatic reunion where she claimed him as her Own.
So when the soulless Drifters found her she felt Complete – it was an Enlightening Experience – and like Buddha she would spend her whole life in a self realizing blissful trance on these very shores, knowing she had reached Nirvana – she was finally at peace.
Thy kingdom come ..................... Princess.
